When writing a rap song it usually consists of 16 bars, how many beats is in one bar?

I have the current idea that one verse consists of 16 bars each bar containing usually one end rhyme at the end, that is the length of 4 beats and that this consist of one bar? Is this correct?

yep 4 beatz in a bar, or every 2 claps = 1 bar
just practice, u’ll get better with it
