What is the best program to make beats?

hi i want to make beats, i have fl studio 8 xxl but im not sure if im making any progress is there any other programs?

Just keep at it, I use FL studio and it is a lil hard when your first starting but nothing else is eaiser. I make mostly club beats, rap, hiphop, and r&b.

Sony ACID pro, i use this program and trust me its the best one i’ve used since frootyloops

Hands down, the best way to make your own beats is this site http://budurl.com/SonicProducerPro
They have the easiest, but sick powerful software I’ve seen for doing this stuff.
