What is it called when your heart beats super quick for a few minutes?

This happened to me six times in three years. It beats like really fast and then gets really slow. All the times it happened was when I jumped which I find weird.

You are having palpitations. There could be several causes. Caffiene is one…heart disease is another. I urge you to see your DR about this as this is considered an arrythmia and could be dangerous.

TACHCARDIA…RAPID HEART BEAT…MAYBE YOU JUST HAD CAFFIENE OR NEEDED SOME.

Tachycardia is when the heart beats fast, briefly. This could be caused by several things - stimulants (such as caffeine), or something as serious as impending heart problems.
If this keeps happening, you should see your PCP, soon.

rapid heartbeat, i have then about once or twice a month, my dr is just keeping an eye on it, currently not on any heart medicine was born with heart problems.
