You should have a heart attack. It usually only happens to very unhealthy people (obese people) and older people.

If your heart rate gets too high you could pass out or have a heart attack or just burn energy stored in your muscles (anaerobic zone). There are some great heart rate calculators on the web where you can find out what your max. heart rate should be. An overweight or deconditioned person has to expend much less energy to get their heart rate up compared to a person in good shape. If your heart rate gets up too high you are just burning energy stored in your muscle that's supposed to be used for fight-or-flight and not the stored fat that most of us would like to lose. If your goal is to burn fat you only need to work to get your rate to 50%-70% of your max heart rate and keep that up for 30-40 minutes "most days of the week."
