There are alot of positive rappers out there especially undeground. Syxx is right there is 2 different types of fans now. There are some cds...now that in my mind will be classics a few years from now but others may not agree. I would say I am in between I LOVE hip-hop with meaning and content, but I do like club bangers too though. I think their will be some classics that define this generation. There wasn't this bridge before so there was a full agreement on what a classic album was. Now that it has segregated so much there cld never be an agreement, but I believe that classic albums will still exist but they will not be regarded as classics I don’t think that there will be another classic album due to the conflict of interest between the two types of hip-hop fans; those who like lyrics and content and those who like club bangers. Like u said not every great LP is a classic. 4 an LP 2 be considered a classic it has 2 have sum type of affect on Hip Hop as a whole, but da way da industry is going any great record will go under da radar and it will have no effect on da rap game... It certainly wont change da way Hip Hop sounds cuz nowadays everything is POP, and sense thats how it is a great LP has a very slim chance of changin da sound of this generation 4 da better.
