What are the chances of making it in the Hip Hop Industry?

I have always been interested in hip hop, and have dreamed of making it a career!
What do you think the chances of making it are?
And what I really want to get into is rapping I have been taking it seriously for the past 3 years and have gotten good from what people have told me. So just tell me what you think about all this, Thanks!

have you seen american idol like a million people try out but only one makes it
and they all have the same mind set that their gonna win

about the chances of me meeting my chemical romance 1
in 1 million chance well mine is actually a 1 in 50 chance

EASY! Act fake, rap about degrading women and have a thug gangsta persona. Thats for Mainstream though.
BUT,
to make it BIG in the REAL Hip Hop Community act real, Rap about Educated Shit and Stay True Homie. Underground is the way to go. Come Real Or Dont Come at All.

Next to none. It’s almost impossible to break in hip hop let alone music. With hip hop today you are going to need to have a gimmick or focus on underground hip hop/ conscience rather than the bling bling style of hip hop.
