what are the best free voice recording program to record over instrumentals and make music/raps?

I want to make raps and other music over a program and wanted to know which ones were free and have the best quality. i have a mic already. so let me know

im no pro on this stuff but i use some of the apps of nch.. http://www.nchsoftware.com/
