rap music is just as poetic as any other genre, but some rappers sing about not-so great things. you know what i mean. and sometimes this puts an idea into kids’ heads that it’s alright to do the things that their favorite rapper does. I have nothing against rap music, but theres a negative effect to everything, right?

I think rap is more aggressive and hardcore about street life and gangs and killing
hip hop got a really nice beat and a big dance like the booty shake and 2step and all that stuff in the club. hip hop is about living in a rich world( throw em up) (get crunk) (get hyphie) different parts everywhere has different styles
when rap is mostly about poverty ghettos and drugs and dealing and gang life
But their is also different rap out their they are not all the same especially far from the kind we listen to on the radio as a majority

That people use the effects of hip-hop to portray how hard they are and how deal crack. When kids are listening to this stuff and going about them being there idols when there doing stuff like dealing drugs, killing, and about how hard they are as kids reflect some of there idols. You could really extend that and show how it is one of the most negative things. There are a lot more positives to me then negatives.

Hip hop aint about being rich. what a dumb*ss. ha ha
Rap is hip hop.
The only negatives i can think is gangster rap. Its REAL hip hop but instead of making the youth think its cool to be a gangster they should motivate them to do better.
