You by albums of lyrical writtens, I wouldn’t want an album of freestyles
BUT if it’s a freestyle session, nothing should be written

RHH: I think I prefer Freestyling skills because it’s more enjoyable to watch, and it takes a certain skill to be able to freestyle effectively. Writing songs takes a little skill, but I’m sure with enough time and a thesaurus, anyone could be like Nas.
Q2: There’s no way of knowing for sure…
How can this be confirmed?

really good songwritten lyricism becuase it shows how creative that person could be plus i love lycicsm in a poetic way.
i know lupe fiasco writes his own lyrics. but lil wayne does it at the top of his head.

SOng written, you can be more precise and creative with written lyrics. A freestyle is a nice skill, but not necessary.

I would prefer Song writing. Great free style skills are amazing but song writing is obviously easier and therefore comes out usually better. A great rapper can really put time into a song and make something great. Also a great rapper can hide messages and subliminal in a song. free styles are usually lower quality even though it’s amazing that they are even as good as they are.

Songwritten. If you take the time to really get something down on paper it will ALWAYS sound better than off the top of your head.
Q2: I know that I write my own, check this out:
I’m dangerously good, and I don’t need a weapon/
They’re exorcising hip hop, well, I’ve come to repossess it/
My quips and similies are similar to infinity/
Cause that’s the amount of effort I give when I spit on beats/
I write everything I rap, and my pen is crazy/
It’s got the ink that don’t bleed, like a pregnant lady/
(What’s that mean?) It seems nobody gets the reference lately/
They wanna learn what I was saying, screaming ("EDUCATE ME!")
There ya go!

Songwritten lyricism.

Really good lyricism. Most freestyles are limited, and you know if they contain dope wordplay and punchlines it was written ahead of time.
Most of them.
