Is it normal my heart beats make two different sounds in alternation?

I don’t mean the two sounds within one heart beat, I mean one beat makes a sound and then the other one(about a second later) makes a different sound.

A heart murmur can sometimes be heard as two distinct sounds as the blood leaks backwards through the valve when it should be continuing forward through the aortic valve or whichever valve is leaking. Thus causing the murmur which is the name for the unusual heart sound….mine sounded like a whoosh after the heartbeat…was very obvious.
