Is it illegal for me to use instrumentals from youtube?

I’m recording tracks to make a mixtape and I have found a lot of instrumentals on youtube. If I put these new tracks i made on a mixtape on datpiff, is that illegal?

Yes. You’d be stealing from the artist who recorded it unless you get their permission.

No its not illegal, you can use it as long as you don’t make profit just hope that SOPAA does not pass.
