Blah Blah Blah

There were indeed 90's rappers who rapped anti intellectualism as well. Not those you named but believe me it was alot of shot'em up (insane in the membrane) rap going on then.

Now, its still rappers who rap about drugs, guns and girls and rappers with good intellectual raps.

There's too many rappers for it to die. Theres as many rap haters as there is rap fans, and were the only genre who has the attitude to tell them to go f*ck themselfes....Rap is one of the most important and well-known genres, what would the modern day culture be today without hip hop/rap?...never gonna die, believe me.

your answer to your question can't be found in the mainstream. if you think of hip hop as lil wayne, ludacris, and soulja boy, (all who misrepresent hip hop) then yeah, hip hop is dead. but if you look to the underground such as slug, sage francis, hieroglyphics, and others, you will see that hip hop is far from dead.

Mainstream hip hop is trash compared to what it was during the 1990s. You have to listen to underground hip hop pal. It is intellectual and philosophical.
