Is 3 to 4 beats per/second a dangerous heart rate for a fast pace workout?

i just hit my late 20s and i notice when i work out hard which i’ve been doing all my life my heart rate speeds up more than it did when i was younger
when i’m going at full pace for a while it goes upto 3-4 beats per second is that a safe rate?

nope, not at all.
please take it a LOT slower.
you will end up giving yourself a heart attack.

that is insanely fast!
maybe try to go slower and once you get more in shape again, your heart rate will be a little more normal.
Your heart is only supposed to be around 20 times per minute when resting so, think of how much of an increase you have when working out!
