It's not cheap, but educators get a discount--if you take a music class, see if your teacher will order it if you pay up-front. Our son has recorded 2 CDs with modest sales (a niche market) using real instruments, vocals, and Sibelius's instruments. It does require that you know how to read and write in musical notation.
