how to tell if BINATURAL BEATS mp3's work right?

I have a friend who has some binatural beats on mp3. I have heard that the mp3 compression messes the binatural beat up. Is there a way to tell if the mp3 compression is still putting the right output of the binatural beat?

If you’re still paying for something that doesn’t work.
Binaural beats generally don’t mimic illegal drugs or anything. They may calm you down, but the ones that are sold don’t do it. And even if they did, any kind of compression would ruin them, MP3, MP4, WMA, etc.

depending on what frequency it is (it shouldnt be over about 40 at max, so i wouldnt worry about not being able to distinguish it) you should be able to hear a sortve throbbing, that is a
"wow-wow-wow." if you cant, then it is not working. also, it may be too fast to distinguish but ifi it is a routine, this will eventually come down.
