It can't hurt to call the company and simply ask if they'd be interested in listening to some music that may be beneficial to their productions. If they're interested, be ready to provide your samples VERY quickly. You might want to think about uploading samples to a website (one with an easy to remember address; stay away from www.example.com/myusername/pagename.html type websites; consider a professionally designed page with a paid domain name that people are more likely to remember) and give them quick access to your samples that way. And remember to work your way up there :) don't start from the top... they'll probably all blow you off at first. Start with the smaller companies, and get noticed there first; Then you can slowly move your way up.
