They used a real guitar. Probably a real drum set too. They’re a heavily electronic/hip hop influenced band so they edit a lot of the stuff they make in protools. That’s expensive. You’re not in a signed band obviously so don’t expect to make music at the same quality as someone working in NRG studios.

No it’s not fake. If you have watched the video, Then you know what Papercut is. It means someone is suffering Paranoia, Meaning they hear sounds that never exist, or seeing what is not real. Acutally, in the video Shinoda Doesn’t move his mouth but the line: The Face inside is right beneath the skin is sung by him. He’s even out of sync with the music, Rob Bourdon’s eyes appear melted, and the area is crawling with dragon flies. Brad and Phoenix play acoustic guitars But we hear electronic Guitar. Rob Doesn’t play drums but we hear drums. the video is made to show Paranoia, It ain’t no fake. They recorded the a audio with real instruments and then mixed it with the video.
But It was Fantastic.
