Comments on: How does a rapper determine how many bars they want to spit in a verse?

from my own personal experienc i decide one of two ways

1.if the beat or instrumental was made where the instruments of
chorus come in after a certain amount of bars.

or 2. how i would like the create the song myself
maybe i want 2 long verses or 3 short ones in this case

it depends how the beat is and the verse range for it. They determine how much they spit by each line that rhymes

It just depends. In my opinion short verses a lot of times is just an artist being lazy, but not all the time.
