How do you discover an underground rapper?

Hoe do you find and underground rapper. Like do you come on Yahoo Answers, randomly search on Youtube, friends, etc.
The reason that I said underground is because it is harder to find an underground rapper then it is to find a mainstream one.

Honestly, I found out about most of the rap I know by going to the CD store every week and buying random albums. There was really no method to it. I basically just bought albums with good covers LMAO. But somehow it worked out and ended up leading me to most of the good music I know.

Mostly through Y!A, and then a little Last.fm, or through guest spots on albums… There are a lot of rappers that I just know of, but I never listen to, so maybe one day I’ll just check it out.. for example, I’ve heard about Prolyphic & Reanimator’s "The Ugly Truth" a long time ago, but I only downloaded it a couple days ago
