Turn off your speakers and use headphones when you record to avoid the sound "bleeding" into your microphone.

In Mixcraft, click on the small arrow next to the arm button on your recording track and make sure you've got your microphone selected as the recording source. Don't choose general things like "stereo mix" or "what you hear" as the recording source, because that will cause the beats to bleed into the vocal track.
