Does using Song Instrumentals violate copyright issues?
Posted by adminJan 9
I was wondering if you use a song instrumental for things does that still violate copyright issues, if so what if you were to speed up, slow down, change the words, ect. or does anyone know any ways around copyright of songs. In my case we want to use instrumentals for our Wrestling Groups entrances and than sell them on dvd. Thanks for any help.

The use of any copyrighted material is a violation. Now if you change them enough so that the song is not the same, you have written a new song.
The best thing to do would be to ask the publisher of the music for permission to use the song. If you republish the songs, then you owe the publisher money for them.

Yes…….It does…
You can either take that first responders advice and contact the publishing company (usually located in the credits of the instrumental or actual song), then google the company to contact them………….
Or…
Simply find a producer to make you an original song or buy q cheap music production software like fruityloops and make your own…..it’s pretty simple
