Does anyone know how I can split a track into vocals and instrumentals?

‘m trying to do a remix and I’ve heard a lot on youtube, it would be a rapper some other song’s instrumentals, u know what I mean?
LIKE SEPARATE THE LYRICS FROM THE INSTRUMENTALS.
Can someone help me plz.
I’ve tried Audacity but didn’t work, I could sil hear the lyrics in the background.

Not possible. Either they got a new band to recreate the instrumental, or they found a recording of instrumentals only, no vocals. You can’t separate the stuff once you’ve mixed them together, the same way you can’t separate the layers in Photoshop once you’ve collapsed them.
