Do guys always have to be macho and never admit it when a girl beats them at something?

I think it’s kind of cute, because I kick butt in video games, and every guy I beat ALWAYS says "This controller is stupid!" or "the light was in my eyes!" or "Everybody beats me in this game" etc rofl do guys do this to you? And guys, why do you do it? Can’t you be a big boy and admit you lost?

Rofl, my boyfriend does it all the time.
If I’m about to win, he quickly resets the game and pretends like nothing happened.
We both play World of Warcraft and he got so mad at me when I did something better than him. He didn’t talk to me for a few hours, but you’re right.
It is cute xDD
I have no idea why guys can’t admit they lost to a girl. It hurts their manliness too much, but I’d rather they didn’t freak out about it xD Or if there are multiple guys, they gang up on you right before you beat them.
But when I lose, they don’t seem that much manlier. And I don’t mind losing as much as guys do
When I play with other girls, they just laugh and demand a rematch.
Sigh. Men!

It doesn’t have as much to do with losing to a girl as much as just losing. Most guys are very competitive and hate admitting defeat, regardless of who they are playing. There are, however, many men that feel they should be able to beat women at certain things, especially things that men typically are thought to be good at. I don’t know about video games, but I guess more guys are into video games than girls, so they may feel it’s an area where men should be better at it. I think the game being played might make a difference too. If he’s losing at some game like Call of Duty, he may think it emasculates him as a man who should be better at shooting stuff.
