I have an artist whose demo tape I plan to solicit to local stations, etc. However, we’re both relatively new at this and I wanted to know if it would be legal for us to solicit this CD using instrumentals that have already been used by other artists. The artist paid for the instrumentals, but we’re in a whole new ball park here.
