So if your heart beats n times in 15 seconds, it beats 4n times in 4*15= 60 seconds. a minute is 60 seconds. we get the equation:

n/15 = x/60

multiply both sides by 60 to get

60n/15 = x

simplify to get x=4n.

So if your heart beats n times in 15 seconds, it beats 4n times in 4*15= 60 seconds.
