That kind of major would be an insane waste of money. No one needs a degree in hip hop dancing. If you ever find such a school it's either a joke or a scam. HOWEVER! Most colleges and universities that have respected dance departments do not specify the form of dance that your major is in. Most design their curriculum to include many different styles to include ballet, hip-hop, improvisation, modern, flamenco...and some even offer african, middle-eastern and ballroom. Some colleges have more class offerings than others. It is a good idea to research a few programs and see exactly what styles they require and offer, and base your decision on the results. If you're considering college, please take it seriously. It's very expensive and there's nothing worse than owing money the rest of your life for an education that doesn't help you make it in the real world. But if your really that good go for it.
