If you want to record someone rapping you will need a nice Condenser Mic. You will need a mixer too to send the channels into your comp. IDK what kind of equipment you are using for beats, but a sampler, synth (keyboard will do), and a drum machine are recommended. FL studio (PC software) can do all of this and you can tie it all together with a MIDI controller. I warn you , this will set you back a pretty penny.
