And then you start to feel tired, like you just want to close your eyes and sleep and you don’t feel any pain, does that mean you’re on the verge of death?
I did it days ago. I just wasn’t sure how close I was to dying. My brother found me and called 911. He said my lips were turning purple. They pumped my stomach and then made me drink this gross liquid charcoal that made me throw up.

OK- you made it. Thanks to your brother. Now, if you really do not want to repeat, go see someone about your depression. Otherwise you will get the urge to do something again, and it may just work. If you did not really mean to kill yourself, no matter. The fact is you took an OD, and came close. Get some help dealing with life, so you do not have a really short one.

If you just took a lot of pills, go to the hospital right now.
You could die depending on what they were.

It doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re about to die, just pass out. But from the way that you’re brother found you, Iwould say that you were pretty close to dying. You’re lucky that he found you soon enough. After taking that many pills, every minute counts.
