A question about using instrumentals of other songs?

If I take an instrumental of another song and make sort of a parody/remake of it and make a music video for youtube of it, will it be illegal or copyrighting? Because I’m not really trying to take 100% credit of the song just to make a song for people to listen and laugh about.

I don’t think so, other people sing other songs written by other people and remake them all the time on youtube. Just give the artist some credit, by adding a title at the beginning saying the title and real artist.
