A father beats up a pedofile who raped his son and is now being charged how much time?

Dad enters the pedofiles house (drunk), beats the pedofile up causes physical injury…the pedofile is 17 the child victim is 9. They are neighbors…Dad gets drunk, very disturbed daily, victim the 9 year old cannot safely leave his home and or continue with sports…So Dad went over pulled the 17 yearold out of his sleep and beat his ass for saudimizing his child repetetivly..he is being charged with aggrevated assault and unlawfull entry.

I agree with Alex. "The drunk was an idiot…..he should have shot him". Seriously, why didn’t the 17 year old get charged with the molestation?? It sounds like the dad, and rest of their family should move, far away. I would NOT be able to live next door to someone that did that to my child. And I don’t even have kids.

That would be a felony charge, so he is looking to at least 5 years, & he should have done the right thing & called the local authority’s so the 17 yr old would get in trouble as well….

He won’t get that much time.
But he should have been careful. A guy who was probably molested faced his molester (who lives down my street) and the molester took a shotgun and killed him right there in his front yard.

Your question is not clear, you cannot be charged with time, your sentence is stated after a conviction, not an arrest.
If you’re just stating that this is wrong and the dad should not be charged, then I have no comment on that situation.
People tend to think the law should only be applied to some, whereas some circumstances should exempt people from the law.

Depends how the judge looks at it. I think there will be public outrage if he is imprisoned. I applaud him for what he did, but he did commit a violent crime. The pedophile is going to have it even worse in prison.

How much faith can we have in a drunk’s ability to convict someone without an investigation or trial? Jail is a good place for both molesters and vigilantes.

Why wasn’t the 17 year old arrested for this? I’m just curious.
It’ll depend on the judge, but he may not get that much time. Maybe even probation. Depends on what the laws are in that state.
