I hear songs that use other song’s beats and put in in their own music. Two examples i know right know is Kid rock and Super Mash Bros. But they use their own words. Is it illegal?

Someone, doctors please, tell me what I have to expect in the long term affects?
I know that the short term affects of that are psychosis, shallow breathing, severe confusion, itching, rashes, loss of motor skills, and things like that. I want to know if I’ll ever be normal again.
