My opinion is no. Rap and Hip Hop is not rock and roll but another form of music all together different. One might ask if that is the case than why is soul music and artist going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? That is because in my opinion soul can really rock but I am sorry Rap needs a place of its own. My respect for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will go down the toilet if rap music and Rappers get the nod. My opinion. What do you think?
