I really want to be able to start making my own music, but digitally. I like hip hop, house, all kinds of music. So is there any software or hardware or both i should know about that would help me get into doing this?

I’m trying to do a vocal cover of a couple songs. Now I have searched all over for instrumental versions of songs and I have tried EVERY way possible to remove lyrics from a song using Audacity, AVS Audio Editor, and even Adobe Audition. I was wondering if anybody could give me any detailed instructions on removing lyrics or point me somewhere where I can get songs without lyrics already in them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Now Lil Wayne’s " A Milli " and Beyonce’s "Diva" was sampled from Three 6 Mafia’s " Poppin’ My Collar." And Ice Cube "Good Day" from The Isley Brothers " Footsteps in the Dark." So PLEASE don’t include those. Which others are great beats Old School and New.
