There’s an art and science to composing music for the piano, guitar, or flute. It’s about using chord progressions, scales, etc. But I want to start composing some beats for my snare drum…marching snare specifically. Are there a few specific tips for that?

What are some specific examples of how “hip hop” has corrupted the English Language?

I’m serious! I am in graduate school, and I am writing a paper for a linguistics class on the corrupting influences of "pop culture" on Standard English. I am not very familiar with hip-hop lyrics, and need specific examples of very bad English to use in my paper.
