I mean GOOD rap and those who say there is no such thing as good rap are ignorant idiots, or all they listen to is the crap on the radio, which is crap rap.

My favorite rap group is THE ROOTS, because they aren’t just rap, they fuse soul/jazz/funk/rap all into one awesome listening experience. Their early stuff, especially ORGANIX is my favorite…nothing like double bass, drums, keys, and guitar molded together with great vocals.

I’m looking for an answer along the lines I described.

I want my band to perform at my friends thing, but her friends are mostly toward hip hop.

How many different beats/pitches can a drum set play? By This i am talking about a fully stocked set including splash cymbals and all other cymbals and drums.

My friend says I can mail a cd with them on there along with a note describing what’s on there to myself and don’t open it. Will that work in my case?

How do I do it any other way, and what will it cost me?
