I’m curious as to how nearly all of the Hip-hop you see on the TV and hear on the radio is more or less undiluted bullshit being spewed from the mouths of those such as Lil Wayne and Soulja Boy. And that these days, the rap songs with even half-decent lyrics are swept underground and never gain the recognition they deserve.
The question mainly is that I want to know how in the nine hells good music got pushed to the wayside in lieu of dance songs and lame punchlines.

What are good rap songs that involve politics,social struggle, and government?

Is there a good program(That’s free or not that expensive) that is good to make sound effects/techno beats too?
